Lady Black Tie first opened in November 2018 as a small retailer with just 3 dressing rooms in the town of Andover. The website launched two months later and generated such a high volume of sales that Lady Black Tie quickly became an e-commerce business bursting out of a small showroom location. Their little retail store got so crowded with boxes, shelving and shipping supplies that the brand opened a warehouse location separate from the store to continue their growth. They expanded their size ranges, started manufacturing their own styles under the name VELVI and listened to customer feedback to keep up with demand.
